Only a couple month left in Steamboat. I am excited to go home to see my family and friends again, but in the same time, I also am sad that I have to leave Steamboat and its amazing people. I wish I could take Steamboat with me and put it right next to Belgium.
Since my last post, many things happened. I was part of the high school Musical that took place in february but I unfortunately don't have any picture.
I went on the Agua Prieta trip with the Interact Club. Even if didn't happen they way we expected it to, it was an amazing experience and a great time.
In March, the Rabesa took me on an amzing trip to Disneyworld, Orlando. I only have one thing to say about it: Amazing!!
For Spring Break, Ray "El Bandido" Martinez took me with him and his daughter on a great road trip in Colorado.
We first stopped in Fruita for two nights. We did some great Mountain Biking and had a lot of fun with the kids.
We drove through Colorado National Monument, which was beautiful.
We spent a night at Mesa Verde and did the tour of it. We learned a lot.
Our next stop was Durango. I loved Durango! We took the train to Cascade Village. We also went to an Old Time Photos and have some good photos taken.
I am now living with my third and last host family, Tara and Ben Weaver. I am very happy with them, like I was with the Rabesa and the Mensing. We are having a lot of fun playing darts and ladder ball. Even if they think I win too often.
To conclude, I want to say that I'm still having a great time here and I won't ever forget this amazing year I had the chance to spend among great people.

Introducing myself - Melina
Hi!
This is my
first post at the blog and I was planning to introduce myself. So in this post
you will read a little about me and my time here in America so far. Enjoy your
reading!
The basics:
My full name is Melina but my friends just call me Mila. I was born 4th of November 1995, in Sweden. After eighteen years living in the same country, city and house, I felt ready to explore more parts of the world. I love to travel; I can never get too much of experience and memories! So far I have been in 21 countries, mostly just in Europe. Euro trips is me and my family’s favorite way to travel, it is just to pack the car with some necessary things and then you are ready to drive around in Europe wherever you feel like going, if you never done that, I would really recommend you to put that on your bucket list.

Other fun
random facts about myself:
I love sushi, and American pizza. I love skiing and tennis, have done both of these sports my whole life. Sport is my thing I think, probably just because of my time growing up. I have an older brother that always brought me with him wherever he goes, so I have spent a lot of time together with him and his friends playing different sports as basketball, soccer, and floor ball. Fall/Christmas is my favorite time of the year because everything is so cozy, calm and beautiful. But I think I love all the different times of the year, rain, sun, snow, whatever.

My time in
America so far:
Eight months ago, I left Sweden and started my adventure in America, in Estes Park, Colorado. But after one and a half month in that beautiful village, we had a natural disaster (flood) and I moved to Steamboat Springs, where I now lived for six and a half months. I love both of these places, each place has their own positive sides. Both of the places are beautiful and full of possibilities to hike and explore the nature. But Steamboat has the skiing, which I am really thankful and happy for.
